Never heard of a recall, have heard that you have to redrill the holes in order for it to work.
2001 supercharger on a 1999 lightning
I am changing to a different supercharger on my 99 lightning.When it got down to bolting the supercharger down.The bolts did not line up on the intake.I was told there was a recall on the 99 lightning,and the supercharger would fit if I had done the recall.The local Ford dealership is so far saying there was no recall .Was there a recall?

the recal was to fix leaky intercooler cores. i think they were replaced with the 01+ style, so the newer supercharger would fit that.
i would just drill the holes in the proper places and bolt it up.
