oh well, but hopefully you'll like the sa's they should be pretty loud. i just wasn't too impressed with how they sounded, but also, they were in a box meant to put up numbers and not sound too good. i'm going to have to check out the skar subs, i've just recently heard about them. how long til you get the sa's in the truck?

you can peel off the stickers they have on them, thats what that xcon had done. sticker was peeling off when the guy got it, so he just took it off. looks gnarly being a inverted dustcap with nothing on it at all. i'm really considering getting one of ssa's line of subs, or just grabbing another ssd or two and running them.

and check on different forums for some icons, sometimes some people let them go at a decent price, but i'm pretty sure its shipping thats going to kill it for you. must be a pain in the ass to get anything up there! i'll keep an eye out for you on some icons on the different car audio forums i'm on though (unless i get them for myself! hahaha)

you don't have to give the subs rated power, and you can underpower them too and they'll still sound good and be decently loud. shit, right now i have my old 12" ssd seeing 25w rms. hahaha, took out my 6.5" mid from my computer's 7.1 surround sound system and hooked up the ssd and its only rated at 24w or something like that, but the internal amp is like 4ohm stable hahaha and my ssd is dual 1ohm coils. it sounds pretty loud and it shakes a few things in the house with such little power. i heard from a buddy of mine, that a person he knows, might want to buy my 18" btl, and if i sell it, im not too sure what to get. i'd love to get like 2 12"s or something, just not sure what to get though.

yea, i've been looking into SSA. it all just depends which subs match my amp and can fit in the t-forms box with my nifty lil' spacer. I may have to upgrade from 3/4 inch spacers to 1", depending on what subs I end up with. Also, part of me is tempted to just run the type R's and be patient about buying another set. I know how the R's sound, and used to like them...but some stuff has come a long way from then.
