Harley with an 8lb lower

Has anyone had a clearance issue with the transmission coolant lines with an 8lb lower?

No experience personally but that is a pretty common set up I know they do have some give and can be zip tied out of the way.

You’re not putting that on a stock motor, are you? Matt at LFP told me for an 8# pulley you need a ported blower and SCT MAF, minimum.

Why would you need a ported blower? It’s almost the same as running a 6 lb lower with a lightning upper

Remove the mount and roll the lines away from the pulley with a baseball bat. I got an 11" lower to clear with no issues with tons of street miles.

Thanks Jim, I wasn't sure how much abuse they could take. Looks like I'll massage them out of my way.
