Anybody know exactly what this code means? My friend has been using my truck and says thats what came up on the scanner. I know its a body code, but I'm not finding much info on the web. Think it might be EGR or rich mixture related. The scanner says "Code unknown" as the description.
I told him to clear it. We're going to the tuner tomorrow, so if its mixture related it will be fixed, and if its EGR related, I'll have it disabled.

And now he just called and told me it threw a P0000 and died. ****. What am I gonna do with this POS. Now I’m thinking fuel pump if it died. That’s one thing I never replaced.
Still have every intention of putting it on the dyno and having it tuned tomorrow though.... if it makes it there.

Why don’t you do a full check on the truck? Fuel pressure, make sure coils all work, drive for a while after your time and check and read the plugs etc.

The truck is pretty much a lost cause at this point. The motor is shot. It couldn't even be run on the dyno. The fuel trims are off by 15% bank to bank, its constantly misfiring, and we know compression is low on cylinder 8. Rev it above 4000rpm and it stalls out.

All 8 plugs were replaced last week, and the one bad coil was too.

Frankly, its not worth it to me to fix it at this point. I have $23k into the truck since July. I'm at the point where I'm gonna eat $15k and take the first $8k i can get. It doesn't even pay to auction it off. With all Manheims fees and losing the tax savings, its just not worth it.

Not a whole lot. Most of that was just repairs from the previous 8 owners neglect. The whole front suspension and steering system had to be rebuilt/replaced, the brake system had to be completely re-done, rear end was opened up and the gears swapped, the dash was replaced, all the lights, added Nav and backup cam, had to do cats, spent thousands on mods trying to get the motor running right before we finally did the compression test. And all for nothing.

Truck would be perfect for somebody who could pull the motor and rebuild it. Everything else has been done. Every dealer comments about how good it looks (Previous owner had it painted) and sounds, but they can't pay much for it because the motor needs work.

That sucks. I’d take it off your hands, but with a blown motor and non-original paint...good luck selling that. Better off parting the performance parts out and selling the truck as is.
