Wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark idea of how much hp I should get after this upgrade? Thanks for any help.

Sorry I posted a list of mods but it still says loading. My truck has a MHP built long block. Ported PI heads, stage 2 cams, 80lb injectors, cobra crank. Eaton is ported by steigmire. American racing full exhaust. I am fixing to install a 2.3 whipple. I haven't any proof of hp with the current setup. Was told by previous owner it was around 525 ? It also has a built trans with 2600 stall and aftermarket vb. 410 gears. I am going to have it dyno tuned after the whipple is installed. From what I have read on here, a lot of you Guys seem to know these trucks front to back. Just looking for an idea of what to expect in jp? Maybe e.t. ? I also have Hoosier drag radials on it. I appreciate any serious input.

Talk with your tuner, what are your goals.
Mid 600hp, should put you in the high 10's
You will need some traction bars and a good pinion angle if you plan on hitting the track. If you run the 1/4, you might want to switch those 4:10 for some 3:73. You will be north of 6000 RPM's through the traps.

The foot say's go, The Light say's No!

That truckly is likely closer to 475 with that setup.
With the right fuel system and tuning 600s is an easy day.

I'm curious how well your truck does now in the 1/4? I got something similar like your setup. jlp engine with stage 3 cams/heads and cobra jet crank. same stall converter and built trans. 3.73 rears though. I got a joker eaton for now to break the truck in and enjoy it a little bit and full obx exhaust for now. I'm trying to get close to 11.5's for index racing and I don't have a roll cage nor do I want one in that truck right now. I want to go 2.9 whipple down the road if I keep the truck. I also got 60lb injectors, and twin 255 pumps tuned by jdm since theyre real close to me.

I appreciate the input. I will find out towards the end of the month. I will post the results from the dyno and track times. It will be 1/8 th mile only. My closest 1/4 mile track is a couple hours away vs an 1/8 mile 20 minutes. Thank you again.
