New or rebuild Transmission

I have a question my transmission went out and was wondering how much hp can a stock transmission can handle I drive a 99 2nd generation. My mods I have right now are long tube headers, intake, 6lb lower pulley, big throttle body, act 2600 air mass flow, im thinking of getting injectors. Can a stock transmission hold that power???

With a valve body and good maintenance, yes.
But if you plan to go higher HP, a built trans wouldn't hurt. Just a matter of what your horsepower desires are and how deep are your pockets?!
Look up BlowerSlut (A1 Tranmission).

We’ll cut you some slack since you’re new here... Search “BlowerSlut” and send him a PM or Email.
Or look up A1 Transmissions in GA.
If you need an built Lightning trans, he’s one of the best.

Building up your tranny would be a nice option but a cheaper route would just be to fix/freshen it up. At your power levels and then some a stock tranny would be completely fine.

I tried to send you a pm responding to your inquiry in the stock transmission I have for sale, but it says your settings aren't letting you receive pm's from other members. Might want to fix that.

Anyways, here's the Facebook link to the transmission you're interested in.
