Local Tuner

Anyone in the Indy area know of a good performance shop in the area (Carmel/Indianapolis) that works on and/or is a tuner for our modular vehicles? Mainly looking for a tuner.

I too have been looking, honestly haven't found any locals yet. Was in Touch with Eric Korn, Modular Big Bore Stroker on this forum and he said he might be up for a trip to this area to do some tuning. That was just before winter, waiting for a little kinder weather god to see if he can make it. There is a nice dyno south of Indy and I think they allow it to be rented, their name escapes me at the moment, but their main clients seem to be mostly imports.

I have considered mail order and the big 3 or 4, depending on who you talk to seem to do excellent work, I am not big on mail order though. My truck was dynoed in California and has since received changes that require a new tune, so yeah, a quandry.

I will keep an eye out and will be heading to Lucas Oil Drags on Wild Wednesdays and may find some sources.

Sounds good. I'll meet up with you soon at the track, but I won't run mine until I have it dynoed and the tune checked. Just bought it last month. As you can tell by the moniker, it's my third 2nd Gen L. PM sent.
