hi guys
what the pulleys combo for whipple 2.3L to get 18 psi ?
Is it safe to run 18psi on 93oct pump gas ?
i have 4#,6# lower Rings ,big TB , TF heads,built engine ,and full catback
whipple told me lower 4# with 3.125 is 18psi that correct ?

You're looking at an 8# lower and 3.375 upper to make 17 - 18#'s on a fully built motor. What size of pulley is on your Whipple?

whipple pulley 3.375 , i want change the upper i can find them easy on kuwait ,,the lower ring i need to order it from usa and wait long time

You many run into to some belt slip problems trying to find a small enough upper pulley to get that kinda boost with a 6# lower.

I'm running a stock whipple upper and an 8# lower and barely see 18# on a cold day.

my motor only has 300 miles on new build but im running 8lb lower and 3.375 upper and i havent held truck to see how much boost it makes but if you just slap the loud pedal it jumps to 15lbs instantly. there are other variables that come into effect also

With the stock idlers I bought a 69.625 and it was tight, 70" would be perfect.

Ron I have a 6lb lower (9.25") and a 3.5 upper full 3" exhaust making 16lbs.....

It's all in my sig. 12* of timing. 93 octane
But now that I think of it, it was at 16lbs before I had to gut the cats, so it should be lower now. Anyone know about how much lbs of boost you loose after goin catless?
