Default Blu Ballz back in action, 3.4 Whipple powered!!

Mike "Blu Ballz" Swallick has had his 02 Lightning down for about 2 and a half years now. He ran the stock engine to its limits and ended up getting down to an 11.15 before kicking a rod one day at Englishtown. Mike had probably logged over 1000 1/4 mile passes on the trucks stock engine in the 5 years of life it had. His truck was always kind of quick for the work he had done but Mike's addiction for speed got the best of him.

Fast forward to 2 years later and Mike stuffed in his new JDM 5.4 longblock, very much run of the mill for our engines but he installed some Jesel solid Rocker arms. Along with the longblock Mike topped it off with a 3.4 Whipple, 80 # injectors, Aeromotive fuel rails, and full JDM fuel system with a # 8 feed line and 255 pumps. Still running 2 1/2" Kooks headers and catless mid pipes that where on the truck from before. Installed a 2lb lower and a 3.50" upper.

We dynoed Mike on his 93 octane street tune first and with 8 * timing he layed down 655 RWHP!!! So we drained the tank of 93 octane and filled him up with some VP Racing Fuels Q16 The first dyno run on his race tune was 737 and with the change to a 3.40" pulley on the blower and we saw 756 RWHP!! The 3.40 upper pulley and 2lb lower combination showed 26 psi boost on our dyno! Now we normally see about 1-2 psi more on our dyno, not sure if its the sensor or what but against most gauges we are 1-1.5 psi higher. So he is right around 25 psi but still either way you look at it he made over 750 RWHP and 800 FTLBS of TQ!!

His truck is on our this week video from July 11th around the 8 minute mark http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...109_695573.htm

Daryl Smith down in South Carolina is making around the same HP. We have a few trucks in the 730 range already on these. We've just been messing around with too many mustangs and havent gotten to test a rear plenum ourselves.
