How quiet are the 2.3 whipples? I've read a couple threads saying they are quiet; then some said they are able to scream with the right pulley combo.

Do a youtube search for it. I tried to find the old video of SSTHIS from a while ago, but he has since took it down. I will pm him and see if he can post that video up in here.

I intend to pulley it up quite high. we will see what kind of noise it makes. But as long as it makes power it really doesn't matter.

My Whipple was pretty loud. Here's a vid (I believe of my first 11 second pass) still on the stock motor with only a 2# lower and 3.25 upper. It screamed even louder with the built motor and 8# lower.

Mine is only pullied with a 4lb lower and 3.375 upper since I am still on the stock block. Like most have said, it doesn't have the whine like the eaton or the KB but it still makes some noise. I described it to one of the other Local L guys here not too long ago that went for a ride in mine. It sounds more like a tornado or weather siren like we have here locally, when you really romp on it. I don't miss the whine of the eaton one bit though. The power the whipple provides is satisfying enough......for now anyways.

My exhaust is rediculously loud and I cant here it inside the cab. Now when my brother-in-law was standing out in front of my house, and I did a fly-by, he heard more of the Whipple.
