It was a real nasty crash. I'm glad the driver is OK.

We didn't know until 25 min later. He was knocked out for 20 min but the officials said that he was OK. They did take him to the hospital.

Glad to hear he was ok, a head on hit like that is easy to go another way...

Me, V, Mike, + Al were at Island Drag a couple of years ago and we parked against the LH lane wall (right at the finish line). We backed a couple of the tow vehicles againt the wall and stood on the tail gates and had a view I never got to experience before.

As were standing there watching car by car come by at full RPM and Speed
(man the finish line is a wild place to be

) all of a sudden this dragster come flying down the Left Lane pulls his Chute and only one comes out

That poor guy took AN INSTANT left turn and flew head on into the wall (like feet away from us

After that I think the announcer yelled at us over the loud speaker to move the vehicles away from the wall and get the hell off the tail gates AND FOR GOOD REASON

TG the guy was ok but WOW that was intense to see it happen right in front of my eye's and at that speed
