Not a doubt in my mind those springs were in piece's the day the truck put down those (4) 60 ft's and ET's I posted above. AMOF I'm positive it was like that when I bought it.
As for noticing anything change NO, thats how I know they were like that. Ever since I bought the truck it had a shimmy in the nose AND I constantly dragged the front lower facier on the street. I was at V's house last yr for a Mod Party and when we went to change the front breaks I noticed it, checked the other side and saw that one was broke too. Thank God V actually had my 02 Springs at his house so in they went, on the ride home NO MORE SHIMMY, NO MORE HITTING FRONT FACIER ![]() AMOF I'm pretty sure they were even in pieces when the truck went 9.74 (in the opening slow motion clip look how the nose drops when you get off the gas during the smokey, (that clip is from the 9.74) ) |

Got a few 1.69's with a stock block, ported blower, #6 lower, 28'' slicks, cal-tracs and a PI2600. Little weight reduction.
I also have a full TVS with a 1" shackel in the rear and no Iso's in the front. Its at total of ~ 2/4" drop. Last edited by chrisheltra; 05-12-2009 at 09:17 PM. |

I have similar 60' times as Rob. Best of 1.40 and most in the 1.4s over the last year plus. JDM drag springs(intact) QA1 single adjustable shocks front and rear, JLP composite leafs. No sway bars, battery relocated to spare tire location. Truck weighs 4,400#s with my 280# azz in it.

I'm in the 1.6x's with ported Eaton, 2400 stall, lakewood slappers, stock shocks, FRPP lowering kit with the front spring isolators and one leaf left out on 30" M&H's. Hope to get 1.5's this year.
