Ct.TOPGUN The way it was outlined to me back before AG bought the site was a full vendor got their own section and editing permissions in that section. Supporting Members did not. The idea of site supporters was to promote the small garage builders, giving them a reason to produce niche parts that the community depends on. Like you, JJ, I am waiting to see all the new structure AG is putting in place. I hope it is kept simple.

Vendor/Supporting member, where is the line drawn?

So you have these new vendor rules you posted that are pretty straight forward but leave open a few things I would like to discuss and get clarification on.

Lets say you have a supporting member who acts like a vendor. He/She is openly advertising and selling parts just like a vendor but is obviously not a vendor but a supporting member. Where does AG draw the line?

Also, is a person who is a supporting member who acts like a spokesperson for a vendor considered part of that vendorship or do they have to be physically employed by the supporting vendor?

Where does AG stand on that thin line?

JJ
