Hi, my name's Rick and I've followed your comments/replys to members issues since I joined LR. Always thought they were well thought out and on target. My 04 is developing a small issue I'ed like to ask you about. Truck is a mint one owner 04 with no mods 65K miles and I'm a 70 yr old ex gear head.
After the truck has been driver 5mil or more and warmed up, then parked for say 1 hr them restarted I hear a jingleing rattle like sound as the engine restarts. Lasts only 1-2 seconds, a quick blip of the gas pedal will reproduce the sound maybe once only. Its not a internal noise, I'm leaning to something exhaust as it kind of reminds me of a heat riser rattle a 67 Vett I owned. Never does it cold.
I appreciate any thoughts you might have. Thanks, Rick Fink Staten Island NY
