It was close to that 10 second pass but not quite. Got a 11.17@124 with a sad 1.67 60', on my street tune. The hoosier slicks are shot and not holding, they just won't hold the power:smt013. I tried everything to get them to stick but no luck. It got to the point that i was chirping second:smt042. So now i'm debating to try some full slicks again or some type of 16" drag radial. I need something thats gonna hold and not spin off the line. So i'm gonna do some searching and see whats the best choice for my power level. It was close but until i can come out the hole under power without blowing the tires away i won't get the times down. :rockon_ford

Thats good. I'm gonna be down for a lil while til i can get me some new tires. My truck is spinning, hopping and shaking of the line real bad. But i won't be down for long i hope. I'm not gonna give up on that damm 10 second pass.

A taller tire will give you more contact patch at the expence of gear ratio. Other than traction devices or adding weight to the rear(boo) what can you do? That hidden tenth is in there somewhere and probably in the 60 ft.. I know you got your set up pretty scienced out but... I picked up a full tenth (with a 68 firebird 15 years+ ago) when I pulled air shocks off and put some Competion Engineering adjustable shocks in the rear. Then picked up another full tenth by adding front drag springs and 10/90 shocks. It was all in the weight transfer. That ass end got to squat and them Mickeys got to wrinkle, but it needs to level out down track.
Lil john, if ya get desperate I can give you your spare back and you can add 45 lbs to the rear with a low ctr of gravity haha.
Thanks again for the spare, pressure washed and mounted today.
Post up next time ya go I want to go to. Big rick, Bodeen, Loki and I will be your pit crew.
