Dual 16" Aluminum Fan Shroud

Building a 6061 (0.10") dual 16" aluminum fan shroud for my truck. Ordered the two sheets of 36.25" x 18.50" aluminum today.

Aluminum sheets arrived today, will get the base cut soon and wait to cut the rest till I order another 16" Spal fan.
I think it's finally time to start investing in some new air tools to make this process easier.

2nd 16" Spal fan has been ordered. This will allow me to start measuring and cutting the aluminum panels to build the custom shroud. Need to finish this before it starts getting hot again here in Florida.

2nd fan arrives Thursday.

2nd fan has arrived, hope to get the base cut and fitted this weekend. Time to order the last $600 worth of Tig supplies so I can start welding.

Just sketches on the aluminum sheets laying everything out.
Getting the 2nd Spal fan was holding me up.

So far I have $360 invested (2 6061 metal sheets and 2 16" Spal Hi-Performance fans).

These fans are $140 each.
