Good to see ya guys are interested .I'm pretty sure we can get the dyno since we respected the colleges wishes and everything went smooth. The date would probrably be around may but i'll find out more and keep you informed.Man that means i have to get busy on a whipple ,longtubes and injector install.:smt100 lol

Respected thier wishes hell they only asked for us to work 1 show! We are still doing it every year. Actually the truth is that Keiths wife and my wife do all of the work while we walk around.
I have 1 other local (mustang) that wants to be tuned and Matt 00lightningmm says he may want in..
Maybe we should try and get 20 trucks , 2 weeks, this year?

Well i also meant nobody was doin donuts or burnouts in the parking lot or smokin on college property .So Mark liked our group leaving the door open for us and the dyno usage.:bigtuJJ we'll let ya know as we get more info.

It was $350 a piece last time and if we can get 4 a day we could get that cost down some. But depending on flight and hotel it will vary.Luckily we can usually get the dyno for free. Yes thats correct FREE so that price is hard to beat.Usually That can run $150 or more an hour.

If were talkin about doin this around May, that would great!:bigtu My truck is pretty simple, just look at my sig. I do have a 4# lower and 90 mm replacement MAF on the way from LFP and by the end of next month i hope to have an AFCO dual pass H/E installed.
BTW, JJ, how much would it cost to send me a tune for my L to get me by until you come here to IN. My '00 L still has the stock 80mm MAF on it. Like i said above i just ordered the $90 replacement MAF from LFP & a 4# lower. I already have a SCT Xcal 3 that i bought from troyer perf. when they tuned the '98 NASCAR truck i used to have. I put the tune back to stock on that truck back to stock before i got rid of it, so i should be able to use the Xcal 3 on my L, it just needs to be updated. thanks

Matt i don't believe you can use that anymore since it wasn't a s/c motor it won't work.Man i would have sold you my 5# pulley when i swap out to my whipple.

Ok well i just got off the phone with Mark @ Ivy Tech and as far as the dyno IT"S A GO!!!!!!!!It will be best for the college to do this either of the last 2weeks of May.Either one is open on this end at the college. So we need to start getting all who are interested on a list. Then we'll check on hotel and airfare for JJ and get a better idea on $.Like i said before it should be $350 or less a piece for a dyno tune. And try to get JJ here w/out getting any deep cavity searches at the airports lol.JJ let me know if these weeks are ok for you.
We will need to pay JJ before he leaves so this protects him and us from someone backing out at the last minute raising cost for all of us.
1) 02 RED BOLT for sure
2) BDAZSVT for sure

Do you know if this station actually sells E85 CountryMark, 5015 N. St. Joseph Avenue Evansville, IN 47720? If not are there any E85 stations close around? If so then you can count me in.

Rod I checked for ya and they do have it there the # is 812- 423-6481.Also it's only about 3 miles from the dyno. I'll add you to the list. If anything changes for anyone and they can't do it it's no problem. But please let us know asap when we're getting closer so someone else can fill the space.
As far as location we are at the sw tip of Indiana at the KY stateline .ST louis is about 160 miles west and Louisville KY is 90 miles east .Indy is about 180 miles N E of here if that gives you a better idea.
And like BDAZSVT said that $ will get you dialed in (ONLY as long as your truck is in good working order) before you get here and doesn't need repairs.JJ doesn't have his tools here so as long as thats the case he'll knockem out in around 2 hrs each.

Keith, you think my Xcal 3 won't work? SCT advertises that the Xcal 3 works on all obd-2 ford vehicles. I didn't think the Xcal 3 was done after one vehicle, but i could be wrong. I thought that a long as you put the one vehicle back to stock, you could use it on another vehicle, but then again, i might be wrong. If thats the case, then that sucks! I hate to plunk down another $400+ on another Xcal 3.:smt089

Matt, I do know that the guys with a n/a Harley cannot use the theirs on a Harley that has the s/c .So i'm sure its the same with yours. The deal with returning them to stock is its married to that specific truck until you return it to stock it will be locked. And cannot be used on a truck even the exact model.I'm sure if you go to SCT's site and pull up part #'s the L and the one you have will be different unfortunately.Maybe JJ can make you a deal on one and put a temporary tune in it .Then you can sell the one you have.On F150online or here.Sorry to break the news man.

(One of the last 2 weeks of May) .Haven't nailed which one yet. we''ll work that out with JJ.$350 is what we paid 2 years ago thats where that came from. So with the crap goin on with Flights and Hotels thats a geustimate as of now . We'll get more of an idea when we can get more info on hotel, flight,JJ's fees and how many are goin to split the bill for all of that. There's still a good amount to be worked here. This was thought about but thats it except for the last couple of days. So it's awfully early for me to give you anything but the dates w/out more time and info. I just got the OK from the dyno yesterday to give this a go ahead.

It will be on the dyno this morning. :bigtu The snow isnt going to start until after lunch. I will call you with the results. If you can pick it up before the snow comes that would be great but I will understand if you cant. I will be unable to keep it inside for this storm as I had to get several other vehicles in the shop before this storm hits. We will talk about it when I call you. :bigtu
