I had my drag radials mounted yesterday and was told as a "disclaimer" that Bogarts are not designed for them because of sidewall stress. What say you?
He did say that lots of people run them with no problems.

They are for track use only.

I had a set of GTs built for my truck which are the strongest Bogart and drive them on the street all the time but at my own risk.

A tire shop did damage them on a tire change.

I will have Dave ask your question directly tot he owner

Mine are R/T's which I take to mean road and track.

Screaming01L does the Bogarts so I will let him chime in.

I believe RT is just the style and is still not meant for road use but may be wrong.

Bogarts are freakishly light which makes them very soft.

I don't plan to use them on the street, but might to show some friends around town.

Bogart does make race tires for the twisties too. You just need to let whomever you are ordering them from know. As far as not for drag radials go. I dont see any issues. LOL there are some 3600Lb cars out there doing wheel stands and pulling into the 7's with bogarts on them lol[smilie=3g

From what I was told, and I will recheck, its not the center parts that are the weak spot, like some of the old Weld wheels. Its the hoops that need to be changed to a heavier material.

It was just a question Dave, I only go fast in a straight line. LOL. Thanks for the deal on the TB too.

Ohh, and watchout whom you let mount them, if the tire machine is pushing in to far, it can destroy the hoops, ask FlaHP. he had a set of rears trashed because the machine hit the inside of the rim.

I took them to a pro and it was done right. Any issue driving 50-60 miles to the track? I have 215/65/16 fronts and 315/45/16 MT drag radials.
