how did the drop turn out did you finish....post up some pics...how much did you end up cutting off the coils...

i know but carl stock pilled that shit and used the bottles to get out.... basterd lucky he was driving the red truck and i couldnt catch him... if only he was in the silver one..

give me a few i gotta download them first. i just cut about 7/8 of a coil out for now and left the isolator in just to give it a little rake... this is just a temp. fix for now i need to save for the rest. next i want to put a 4" shackle in place of the 2" thats in there now and then take the iso out for another inch or so in the front. then for the third version im going to get drop spindles, reinstall the iso's, along w/ beefy tie rods to help bump steer, hellwig swaybar, upgraded ball joints, urenthane bushings in the control arms and sway and new bilsteins. the rear is getting c-sectioned, hangers, reinstalling 2" shackles, new bilsteins, hellwig sways, panhard bar, and spyder2 brace! ...its gunna be a while.:bigtu but it'll carve:woohoo

Like i stated before this is temporary setup. i really want to go about 2 more lower all the way around. the first three are after the coils were cut, pics in day-light are from before, notice the rear rake...

Thanks T. After I get back from Paso it'll be whipple, heads, cams, and get my N2O reworked. Then i'll have to always look in my rearview mirror for Buzz[smilie=3g

oh no doubt yours is lower... all i've done to the front is cut bout 7/8 of a coil (supposed to be good for bout 2" or so) and in the rear is only a 2"shackle. didnt you say you had a 4"shackle and drop springs??

VERY SMALL... i centered the truck in the garage and i had 20" on each side :shocked003lol

definently! now i just need to order those shackles and ill do it again to pull out those rubber iso's and maybe a little more off the shackle then i should be right about where Mike's is, maybe a smudge lower...

Yeah it's 4 in drop shackles in the back. Dosen't ride that bad, but it is a little rough!

You can definitely save some bux by cutting your stockers....I need to throw a set of drag springs on the front of my L and a set of fiberglass leafs on the rear now that I think about it.

yes the one jlp offers does up to a 4" drop. it also has holes for a two and a three inch drop..
