Truck went in for re-tune today after I adjusted the actuator last week. (Had the 10 lbs boost problem) 1st pull it goes easily to 14 lbs and then flutters and drops to 10 lbs. He goes around and messes with the actuator and runs 2nd pull. Same result. Does this for 4 pulls, calls me and I tell him to stop and I'll come get it.

So my question is...anyone have an extra boost actuator laying around or know if they can be taken apart and cleaned? The actuator rod is sorta corroded on the part you can see, so no telling what the part you cant see looks like. Sooo it doesnt open and close like it should! :smt013

I hate to go to ford and price one. Guessing $200.00. Think it could be a part NAPA carries?

Thanks bro. I'm gonna hit all the local part stores in the morning and to Ford last.

At this rate Daniel will have his build done before I can even get a damn tune! [smilie=om

Gonna pull the whole assembly off early in the morning and see if i can get it working. Thought i had it last saturday when i messed with it and shot it with a lil WD-40 and adjusted it level. It was tilted pretty bad

Nope. Want to spend most of my time with my son before I leave. Going to be gone 3 months.

I will make atleast one meet if we have one in Feb?

Maybe we can find something central for all. Some of us have to drive 2-3 hours one way :(

These are not a repairable item, check the vacuum lines that feed in and out of it. At times these will and can break down and crack or simply come loose.
