headlights are 9007, fogs for the HD are H1 or H10 (I forget which it's been so long). Basically if factory is H1, you need H10 HIDs and you remove the jumper harness pigtail. If I have that flipped, and if factory is H10, you need H1 HIDs and you remove the jumper harness pigtail.

*edit* wow this has been so long since I thought about this stuff, there was a thing about roush fogs years ago. Maybe that allowed the OEM style bulb to fit, or maybe it was something with the mounting that H1 or H10 fit directly into the roush fogs, but OEM fogs it took some modification? My HD archives are getting dusty lol. NHTOC is probably a better site to search up info on that.

I forget all the time since I constantly have numbers running through my head. But when I need to find out I just go to SuperBrigthLeds.com, and fill out the vehicle info, and it'll tell you the type of bulb for every location on every vehicle known to man. They have leds for homes as well and all kinds of other stuff.

stock fog housings scatter light and you will blind oncoming traffic. It will be far worse with xenon bulbs.

The HD fogs are a bit funky though, because if you go HID the factory replacement bulb won't work. And thinking about it more, I think it's because the factory fog is shrouded and the HID version is too long to fit, but if you go to H1 or H10, whatever isnt' the factory size, it's shorter and will fit. But if you do the roush fogs, the bulb is unshrouded, and the OEM style will fit.

I guess I need to dig into this myself too since I'm buying a 03 HD this weekend for a DD lol

I got them on Ebay super cheap 18.88. Here is a picture of them. When I tried to post a Link it said they were no longer available. But when I put this... "9005 White LED Bulbs High Power Super Bright DRL Fog Lights"... in the search box on Ebay it came up and you can still buy them????. You have to scroll down about 4-5 listings. Im super happy with them. They add just enough fill light down low and like I said before match my HID's.

They actually have decent output? Any chance you could get a couple night time shots standing next to the truck, to show the fogs on, heads & fogs, then just heads? Not of the truck, but of the light on the road?

I really like the white look vs. yellowish, but I hate the HID interference with radios, and the LED bulbs I've tried in the past have been garbage for output, but it was a couple years ago. I know they're still not there for aftermarket with headlight bulb replacements, but fogs I'm not looking for super crazy, but still something useable.

Yes output is decent suprisingly. For fogs you dont need crazy bright lights just good fill in light directly in front of the truck and matching the color to my heads was initially my goal. But Ive been driving around with them for about a year and a half and about 15-20,000mi. w/no issues. These thing are never gonna break you could beat on these things with a hammer. Il get some pics tonight
