Driveability issue

Alright guys my 99 is starting to give me issues and I dont know where to look. To start off it has 47k on the clock and not many mods. An oil separator and some mufflers to be exact.
Anyways issues I'm having is the truck will not idle, it will keep searching for an idle. And when you stomp on it, the truck falls on its face. The rpms dip down before they pick back up.
I took the plugs out and inspected and they looked ok, installed new to be safe and cleaned the MAF. I tried lookimg for vacuum leaks but I can't find any.
A buddy of mine gave me his Snap on Solus Ultra scan tool to look for things. I couldn't find much. Says it doesnt have a misfire and the check engine light is not on no other codes to be read.
The scan tool has a bunch of functions on it, basically like one you'd find at a ford garage. So can check lots of systems.
The only thing that looked like it might be crazy was the barometric pressure sensor has a value of 28. It read that both while the truck was running or non. I don't know if thats a value or if actual barometric pressure it is reading. He was trying to point me in the direction that the sensor was bad and could be the problem. I am unsure.
Last year it started acting up and I got a P1071 or whatever the code is for lean bank cylinder one and three. I haven't seen it since I out it away for the winter.
Trying to upload some videos to maybe see if you guys can see what its doing or if you can offer any advice.
Thanks in advance.

I would start by checking fuel pressure. On a truck that old I wouldn't be shocked if the plastic Y in the fuel tank for the pumps is cracked. You'll need a gauge and to hook it up to the schrader valve on the fuel rails.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone with a baro sensor failure.

when is the last time the fuel filter has been changed? i would begin there but it almost sounds like a fuel delivery issue.

Looks like fuel pressure issue. Check regulator and in-tank pumps.

Thanks for the replies, wife has had me on too many other projects to get back to the truck. I haven't changed the fuel filter in the 15k miles I have owned it so probably going to do that. But got a fuel gauge and hooked it up today. Before I did this video I switched out the fuel pump relays under the hook and checked the fuel pump 20A fuse, both were ok. When running the truck never goes over 15 psi. At idle nor when I blip the throttle.

I cycled the key on and off twice and left it on for 5 seconds each time.

I am certain it is the fuel pump junction in the tank has failed. Your symptoms were identical to mine at about the same mileage. This was a common problem with the 99's. Good luck.....

Alright finally got around to taking the bed off and pulling the pumps out. The "Y" connector does not appear to be broke. Blowthru it air doesnt come out. Also hooked both pumps up to 12v independently and they both go "whir". Not sure Whats going on here.

my gauges on my 01 don't sweep over like yours, not sure if they should or not. check your battery and alternator voltage, also your MAF connection and other suggestions already mentioned.

How offen do the gauges sweep, could be you have a voltage issue.

The foot say's go, The light say's no!

Figured it out. Josh843 hit thr head on the nail. That stinking resistor up by the IC pump was shot. Disconnected it and just did a quick jumper across the connectors, boom 40 psi on the rail.
Wish I would have done that before taking the tonneau cover, bed liner, and box off. Definately could do without the extra couple of scratches I put on her in the process.
But whatever problem solved, no broken Y in the tank, both pumps function, I can drive it. I'm happy.

Sounds have replaced the y with a metal one while you were in there
