4v HEADS on Lightning

Does anyone make adaptors or a intake to run 03 cobra heads on a 5.4 and keep the lightning supercharger?

2V to 4V

No, not even close.

MMR makes adaptor plates to use a Coyote intake manifold
on a 5.4 block , with 4V heads.

There is no real solution to this issue , closest to it is a GT500 intake
to a 5.4 block with GT500 heads. But you will need to use the one belt system.
(Water pump, AC, steering pump, and supercharger will need the same belt.

You can run a 4.6 Cobra lower pan to Cobra 4V heads, but the manifold is too
narrow. Adaptor plates might help here, but none are made.

Navigator heads on a 5.4 block will need turbos.

If anyone made a simple 2V to 4V manifold for the 5.4 engine, they would be awsome!

99L bought new, Forged short block with a main cap girdle, ARP bolts and studs, I W dampner, ported PI heads, 1-7/8" long tubes, 3" full exh, ported Eaton, long bars, solid motor mounts, Trans by A-1, 18 lb pullied, X4 tuner.

I had a 98 cobra with a mildly built 5.4 dohc. It had an 01 cobra intake on it. I was running a vortech centrifugal supercharger. The adapter plates to fit that intake to those heads I wanna say were from reichard racing. Don't quote me on that. May have misspelled the name but I believe it's something similar. May wanna google them or variations of that name to see what u can find.

I have a terminator lower I've been thinking about cutting up for this, but it would still need a custom midplate machined to make it all bolt together, and I'm not a machinist. if going 4v, it's easier to just turbo it. I've been slowly mocking up a 4v setup in my shop, but it's TT not a blown setup

the Eaton M112 isn't enough to feed a DOHC 5.4 though

Mike Dunn (madferraristi - RIP) built his Roush scab truck with a 5.4 iron block, navi heads, and a modified lower intake manifold that he uses the L style blower on it (whipple). His brother owns the truck now that Mike passed. I'm not sure what intake manifold work he had to do and I assume he's running some sort of adaptor as well, but it's not a quick easy bolt-in adaptor and be done type of deal.

Also you'll have a different exhaust setup. Companies can make a L exhaust with 4v flanges that appears to work out just fine, but again it's more costs.

I'm in the middle of a 4v conversion right now. It's actually not that bad cost wise since selling the 2v parts offsets buying the 4v parts, but I had a lot of high end 2v parts that fetched a pretty penny to offset 4v parts that are cheaper even though they're just as badazz, simply because the huge mustang market. So cost wise I'm not out that much, but labor wise it's a tonnnnnnn of work because practically everythinggggggg is changing.

Do Cobra and Navi heads have the same intake to head bolt pattern?

4V Intake

What makes the Navi heads better than the Cobra heads?

I am the one that bought the experimental 5.4 4V intake from Edward Martinez @ PSE Superchargers, Inc. he said it would only work on Cobra heads.
